Posteo IMAP and SMTP settings
The server settings to add Posteo to any mail app, for addresses ending in @posteo.de or @posteo.net.

Before you start
- Posteo's setup guide says to use an app password for both incoming and outgoing mail.
- The outgoing server always needs a password, even if your mail app marks it as optional.
- Posteo only accepts encrypted connections. IMAP also works on port 143 and SMTP on port 587 with STARTTLS.
Use Posteo in a native Mac app
Bloop.email works with any IMAP account. Enter these settings once, and Posteo sits next to your other inboxes, with trackers blocked and nothing between your Mac and your provider.
