Before you start
- POP3 and IMAP access is off by default. Turn it on in GMX under Email, Settings, POP3 and IMAP.
- GMX turns this setting off again if you do not use POP3 or IMAP for a long time.
- SMTP also works on port 465 with SSL/TLS. Only TLS 1.2 and 1.3 are supported.
Use GMX in a native Mac app
Bloop.email works with any IMAP account. Enter these settings once, and GMX sits next to your other inboxes, with trackers blocked and nothing between your Mac and your provider.
