From AT&T Support: POP3 and IMAP email settings. Check there if something has changed.
Before you start
- Mail apps that do not use OAuth need a 16-character secure mail key. Create it in your AT&T account profile.
- Enter the secure mail key as the password for both the IMAP and SMTP servers.
- The same settings cover sbcglobal.net, bellsouth.net and the other AT&T domains.
Use AT&T in a native Mac app
Bloop.email works with any IMAP account. Enter these settings once, and AT&T sits next to your other inboxes, with trackers blocked and nothing between your Mac and your provider.
