An Outlook.com and Hotmail app for Mac

Microsoft makes Outlook for Mac, and if you live in Microsoft 365 it's a natural fit. But if your Outlook.com or Hotmail address sits alongside Gmail, iCloud or a work IMAP account, you may want one simple app for all of them.

How Bloop.email works with Outlook.com

Bloop.email signs in to your Microsoft account on Microsoft's own page, keeps the sign-in token in your Mac's keychain, and connects directly to your mailbox.

Outlook.com on Mac: questions

Does it work with Hotmail, Live and MSN addresses?
Yes. They're all Microsoft accounts, so you add them the same way as Outlook.com: sign in on Microsoft's page.
Can I use a Microsoft 365 work account?
Usually, yes. If your organization restricts third-party apps, an admin may need to approve the sign-in first.
Do I need an app password for Outlook?
No. Outlook uses Microsoft's own sign-in instead of a password you paste into the app.
