App password
Set up Gmail
Create a Google app password, then paste it into Bloop.email.
Steps
- 1
Turn on 2-Step Verification for your Google Account, if it isn't on already. Google only offers app passwords once it is.
- 2
Go to myaccount.google.com/apppasswords, give the password a name like “Bloop.email”, and create it.
- 3
In Bloop.email, add a Gmail account and paste the 16-character password.

Good to know
- Don't see the app passwords page? It's unavailable for accounts that only use security keys, and work or school accounts may have it turned off by their admin.
- Google shows the password once. If you lose it, delete it and create a new one.
